Your mind rebuilds itself every night. Most people leave it unsupervised.

Conscious Sleep trains you to enter the threshold state between waking and sleep — the window where the mind consolidates what you have learned and is most open to changing its own patterns. Twelve weeks. Measured against your own scores.

Where we stand

You cannot learn new information while you are asleep. Play a language tape at 3am and you will wake up knowing nothing. That was settled in a laboratory in 1956 and it has not moved since.

What you can do is far more useful, and almost nobody trains for it. Sleep is when your brain decides what to keep. The threshold you pass through on the way there is when it is most willing to change its mind. Conscious Sleep is training for both — deliberately, nightly, with your results tracked.

We are precise about this because precision is the whole offer. Anyone can promise transformation. Very few will tell you exactly which mechanism they are using and how you will know it worked.

The mechanism

Three real processes. This programme trains all three.

Not metaphors. These are documented, replicated findings from sleep and memory research — and each one maps to a practice you will do.

Process one

Your brain sorts at night

During deep sleep the brain replays and files what you took in during the day. Sleep after learning, and you retain dramatically more than if you stay awake — one of the most reproduced findings in memory science. Poor sleep does not just tire you. It quietly deletes your learning.

Trained by: guided deep rest, nightly
Process two

The threshold is a plastic window

The few minutes between waking and sleep are a distinct state — not awake, not asleep. Research on this window shows a sharp rise in creative insight and openness to suggestion. Edison and Dalí famously mined it. The yogic traditions built entire practices around holding it deliberately instead of falling through it.

Trained by: breath-level rest and guided imagery
Process three

Cues can steer consolidation

Studies show that reintroducing a cue linked to something you learned — a sound, a scent — while a person is in deep sleep measurably improves how well they recall it. Your mind is not sealed at night. It is selective, and selection can be influenced.

Trained by: your intention, placed at the deepest point
The intention

Most manifestation teaching has it backwards.

It tells you to picture what you want and wait. The tradition this programme comes from teaches something stricter, older, and considerably more effective.

What is usually taught

Visualise the outcome. Feel it as already true. Ask, believe, receive.

The problem is not that visualisation is useless — it is that visualising success alone has been shown to reduce the energy people put into pursuing it. The mind treats the picture as partial payment and relaxes.

You end up calmer, and no closer.

What is actually taught

A single resolve, worded in the present tense, planted in the deepest state of rest — and repeated identically, night after night, until it stops being something you say and becomes something you assume.

It is paired with honest contact with the obstacle. You hold the outcome and the thing standing in its way in the same breath. In modern psychology this pairing is the version that produces results; in this tradition it has always been the method.

You do not ask. You reorganise.

The word is sankalpa. San — born of the heart, of what is true. Kalpa — a vow held above all other rules.

Not a wish. A vow, spoken from the one part of you that is not negotiating. In week zero we write yours together, and you will carry the same sentence for twelve weeks without changing a word of it.

The twelve weeks

A sequence, not a subscription.

Each phase depends on the one before it. You are acquiring a skill you keep for life, not renting access to recordings.

00Before you begin

Baseline and vow

A 90-minute private session. We map your sleep and take two standard clinical sleep-quality scores, so there is a real number to measure against. Then we write your sankalpa — the sentence you will carry for twelve weeks.

  • Private intake
  • Baseline scores
  • Your vow written
  • Personal protocol
01–04Weeks

Learning to reach the state

You learn guided deep rest and practise nightly with audio recorded for you. This phase is physical and unglamorous: your nervous system learns to stand down on command, and your sleep starts consolidating properly again.

  • Weekly live session
  • 20-min nightly audio
  • Sleep diary reviewed weekly
05–08Weeks

Holding the threshold

Breath-level rest and guided imagery. You learn to stay conscious in the window most people fall straight through — the plastic one — and your vow is placed there deliberately. Scores are re-taken at week eight and the practice is adjusted to what the numbers show.

  • Weekly live session
  • Mid-point measurement
  • Private recalibration call
09–12Weeks

Independence

Longer sessions, plus ten-minute versions for flights, hotel rooms and the gap between meetings. You finish practising alone, with your full library and your before-and-after numbers in hand.

  • Portable practices
  • Final measurement
  • Closing private session
  • Library kept for life
Results

Your outcome is a number, not a testimonial.

Every client is scored at week zero, week eight and week twelve using two standard sleep-quality questionnaires. You leave with your own data.

ISI 17 → 6 · 12 weeks
Slept through the night for the first time in years by week six. By week twelve I stopped counting hours — I just felt rested.
Executive · Dubai
PSQI 13 → 5 · 12 weeks
The vow work surprised me. It quietly rearranged decisions I had been avoiding for a year.
Founder · Bangalore
ISI 14 → 4 · 10 weeks
I fly weekly. The portable practices alone are worth the whole programme.
Consultant · London / Sharjah

What these scores mean. ISI is the Insomnia Severity Index and PSQI is the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index — two questionnaires used in clinical sleep research worldwide. Lower is better on both. We use them because they are standard, free, and impossible to flatter.

Why places are limited, honestly. Each client receives audio recorded with their own vow spoken into it, and three measurement reviews read by Dr. Sarvajna personally rather than a system. That caps each intake tightly. When places are taken, the next intake opens the following quarter — there is no waiting list that jumps.

Before you apply

Straight answers.

So can I learn a language, or absorb a book, while I sleep?

No. Nothing in this programme claims that, and anyone selling it is selling something that failed replication seventy years ago. What you will do is protect and strengthen the consolidation of what you learn while awake, and use the threshold state to change patterns you have not been able to change by effort. That is a smaller claim and a much larger result.

Is this treatment for insomnia or a sleep disorder?

No. Conscious Sleep is a training programme, not medical care. If your intake suggests a clinical sleep disorder — chronic insomnia, or signs of sleep apnoea such as loud snoring and breathing pauses — we will say so plainly and refer you to a physician first. The practice can sit alongside medical treatment. It does not replace it.

Do I need to be flexible, spiritual, or interested in yoga?

None of the three. Every practice is done lying still with your eyes closed. There are no postures and nothing to believe. The tradition is named honestly because that is where the methods come from — but you are being taught a skill, not a worldview.

What is the actual time commitment?

One live session a week, plus twenty minutes lying down before sleep. For most people that replaces time already being spent on a phone in bed.

I travel constantly, across time zones. Does that break it?

It is one of the main reasons people join. Sessions are online and rescheduled around your travel, and from week nine you learn short practices built specifically for flights, hotel rooms and shifting time zones.

What if my scores do not move?

You will know at week eight rather than at the end, which is the point of measuring three times. If nothing has shifted, we use the recalibration call to change the approach — or, if this is genuinely not the right method for you, to say so directly.

What happens after I apply?

A short form, then a twenty-minute call. That call is where we check the programme genuinely suits you, and where you decide whether you want to work with Dr. Sarvajna. Nobody is enrolled from a form alone.

Next intake

You will spend a third of your life there either way.

Twelve weeks from now, you can be doing it on purpose — and know it by the numbers.

A note on our practice

Conscious Sleep is an educational wellbeing programme. It does not diagnose, treat or cure any medical or psychological condition and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified physician. Individual results vary and are reported using standard self-report sleep questionnaires (ISI and PSQI).
